My 30th trip to Iceland, and my first in January. A tough time to travel, with a lot of snow and road closures, but astonishingly beautiful.

A magical winter trip to Iceland (along the south and south-east coasts) just before covid restrictions hit. It was the stormiest I've seen the place!

My second autumn trip to the Westfjords of Iceland. This is a wonderful time to visit this area, with magnificent colours on the hillsides, but before the winter creeps in and brings additional challenges.
