Seagulls eating Starfish in Stanley Park, Vancouver

Seagulls along the coastline of Stanley Park in Vancouver have a strange habit of trying to eat purple starfish - whole. A number of them looked as if they might choke, and it seemed to take some time, but eventually they managed to gulp them down.
