Puffin on Cliff Edge, Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland

A puffin sits on a cliff edge on the island of Heimaey, part of Vestmannaeyjar (Westman Islands). Every summer the island is teeming with puffins, who breed there. For a couple of nights each summer residents go out to pick up fallen young that have failed to get to the sea and return them to the sea.
